My work gets informed by borrowing urban forms from public space and reinterpreted them in new compositions.

The aim was to approach this project by creating new patterns, using scale, different

 

fabric qualities and sublimation printing to transfer the images onto the fabric.

Work created and exhibited as part of the fashion and textile research from the AHRC-funded Redisigning PPE enquiry, undertaken in the Nottingham Trent University (2021-2023) featuring a 'Reusable PPE Gown System' developed with industry alognside artefacts created with repurposed materials by FTK studdents, staff and four independent designers. @ppe_refashioned
